Mojácar sailing club - Almeria province Spain

The sailing club is based in Mojácar, Almeria province Spain and was founded by John Talliss in 2002.

Santa Irene Club de Vela is a Registered Sports Club of Andalucía and a member of the Andalucían Sailing Federation, as well as a member of the Drascombe Association, the Royal Yachting Association and the Polynesian Catamaran Association.

The sailing club was established to introduce the sport of sailing to this area of Andalucia and membership is open to everybody, whether you are a novice and want to learn to sail or an experiened sailor.

One of the club's main aims is to bring the sport of sailing to the youth of Andalucia and would actively encourage them to join the club.

The Club is for members only, although you don’t have to be a boat owner. Membership is open to everyone, and temporary membership is available to members from other sailing clubs based in Spain or abroad who would like to sail when visiting Mojácar. Anyone interested in joining the club can contact John on Tel: 950 475 157 or 658 548 790.
